HADLEY, Mass. -- Bates men's cross country senior captain
Eli Boesch Dining earned second team All-NESCAC honors for his 13th-place finish out of more than 150 runners at the NESCAC Championships, as announced Tuesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
Boesch Dining (Concord, N.H.) picks up the first All-NESCAC honors of his career, racing to the finish Saturday in a personal record time of 24:39.6. It's the best showing by a Bates men's cross country runner at the NESCAC Championships since 2018.
Bates finished fifth out of 11 schools overall, matching the Bobcats' performance from last season.
The men's cross country team is back in action a week from Saturday at the NCAA East Regionals, hosted by Bowdoin College.
