Ahmed Hatata both remained unbeaten this season in 3-0 decisions, to lead the 18th-ranked Bates men's squash team to an 8-1 win against 21st-ranked Colby in men's squash Wednesday night at the Dunaway Courts.
Bates improves to 10-7 overall, while the Mules drop to 12-6. The two teams will meet again Saturday in a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal match at noon at Williams College. Bates is the fourth seed and the Mules earned the fifth seed.

Hugh Doherty had a 3-1 win at the fifth position for Colby. Doherty fell in the opening game and then won three straight.
