HANOVER, N.H. -- The Bates men's squash team's two All-Americans, junior Ahmed Abdel Khalek and sophomore Ahmed Hatata, both stayed unbeaten individually this season against as the No. 16 nationally ranked Bobcats fell in the team scoring in all three of its matches over the weekend. Playing in the Middlebury Round Robin on Saturday, Bates lost 7-2 to No. 9 Franklin & Marshall and 6-3 to No. 17 Middlebury, before traveling to Dartmouth on Sunday and losing 7-2.

Abdel Khalek (Cairo, Egypt) is 12-0 this season after his three convincing, 3-0 victory at the No. 1 position: an 11-5, 11-1, 11-6 win over F&M's Abhishek Pradhan, an 11-4, 11-1, 11-3 decision over Middlebury's Andrew Jung and an 11-8, 11-2, 11-3 win over Dartmouth's Alvin Heumann.

Hatata (Alexandria, Egypt) raised his record this year to 8-0, with a 3-1 (11-7, 7-11, 11-3, 11-9) win over F&M's Cole Osborne, an 11-1, 11-7, 11-6 win over Middlebury's Andrew Cadienhead, and finally a gutty 3-2 (9-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6, 11-7) victory over Dartmouth's Alexander Greer.

Bates senior Andy Cannon (Greenwich, Conn.) won 3-2 (3-11, 11-5, 11-8, 4-11, 12-10) over Middlebury's Harrison Croll. 

The Bobcats (7-7) host Bowdoin on Friday at 5pm and MIT on Saturday at 5pm.
