HARTFORD, Conn. -- The No. 12 nationally ranked Bates men's squash team couldn't stand in the way of top-ranked Trinity College from getting its 228th consecutive victory, accepting a 9-0 NESCAC loss on Sunday. The Bobcats (4-3) wrapped up an 0-3 weekend against top-10 powers Penn, Yale and Trinity.
A day after winning the exhibition match in Bates' match against Yale, sophomore Walter Cabot (Dover, Mass.) won Sunday's exhibition match, defeating Trinity's Wesley Wynne by a 7-11, 11-4, 11-3, 11-8 score.
The Bobcats' next competition is a pair of matches at Stanford University, Jan. 5 against No. 13 George Washington and Jan. 6 against No. 20 Stanford.
