LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates college women's tennis team won two out of three doubles matches and won at the top four singles positions for a 6-3 defeat of visiting Mount Holyoke Saturday inside Merrill Indoor Gymnasium.

Sophomore Caryn Benisch (Huntington, N.Y.) and senior Laura Harris (Mercer Island, Wash.) won at first doubles and at their respective singles positions to pace the Bobcats (4-5).
