LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates College women's tennis team scored an upset 5-4 victory over Connecticut College Sunday at the Wallach Tennis Center. The Camels are ranked No. 22 in Division III in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, and likely headed to the NCAA Tournament.
In the longest-lasting and deciding match of the day, Bates junior Laura Harris (Mercer Island, Wash.) outdueled Conn College's Danielle Coleman at No. 4 singles, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (9-7).
Bates finishes the season with an overall record of 6-7.
