WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bates College volleyball team won its second straight match Friday evening at Williams College, defeating Hamilton College in straight games, 30-20, 30-28, 30-27.
The Bobcats (7-21, 2-6 NESCAC) continue play at Williams' NESCAC Weekend today, with matches against Williams at 11 a.m. and against Middlebury at 1:30 p.m. As of Saturday morning, Bates still has an outside chance of finishing among the league's top eight teams and earning a playoff berth.
Senior Jasmine McDavid (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led Bates' offense against Hamilton with 13 kills, while Katie Graeff (Chevy Chase, Md.) handed out 30 assists to go with eight digs.
Junior Lauren Gold (Sacramento, Calif.) collected 18 digs with two service aces. Senior Liz Santy (Farmington, Conn.) had eight kills along with 13 digs, and junior Erin Johnson (Naples, Fla.) accumulated 14 digs.
