In a dominating performance, junior Victoria Adams earned medalist honors and the Bates women's golf team won the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship by a whopping 81 strokes, capping off the fall season in style at The Captains Golf Course on Cape Cod.

The Bobcats shot 55 over par as a team, which was well-ahead of runner-up Hartford (136 over par) in the field of 10 schools. Four of the top five spots on the final leaderboard belonged to Bobcats, starting with Adams, who shot a 75 on Saturday on the Starboard Course and a 73 on Sunday on the Port Course. She birdied three holes both days on her way to victory.
