Dio was outstanding out of the bullpen for Bates, tossing four innings of one-run ball Wednesday at No. 10 nationally ranked Endicott. He struck out a season-high five batters and allowed just two hits against the Gulls. Then on Sunday, Dio picked up his first collegiate win with three and two thirds innings of shutout baseball in a 14-5 victory over RPI. Dio struck out three batters and once again allowed just two hits against the Engineers.
