As one of six captains of Bates rowing, Kemp helped the Bobcats win the President's Cup on Sunday over rivals Colby and Bowdoin. She rows in the three seat of the women's second varsity eight, and the Bobcats dominated that race in particular. The Bobcats overwhelmed the Bowdoin and Colby 2Vs, winning in 7:38.6. Bowdoin was nearly 20 seconds back at 7:58.0 and Colby finished last in 8:22.9.
