Cote played a key role in leading the Bates field hockey team to the NCAA quarterfinals for the first time in program history. She scored the first goal of the game in the Bobcats' 4-1 win over Stevens on Wednesday. Then she scored the game-winning goal Saturday against Babson, breaking a 1-1 tie. The win over the Beavers gave Bates 14 on the season, the most in program history. To top off her week, Cote dished out an assist Sunday in the Elite 8 against Tufts.
Cote finishes the season with 13 goals and six assists. Her 13 goals are the most for a Bobcat since Jane Davis '88 scored 14 goals in 1987.
