Bogyo, a walk-on who joined the Bates men's soccer program in the spring, got off to a remarkable start to his collegiate career with a pair of goals in a 2-0 week for the Bobcats.

In Wednesday's 3-0 win over Saint Joseph's College of Maine, senior Rex Ah Chu delivered a throw-in from the near side and sophomore Noah Greiff redirected the ball expertly with his head to a waiting Bogyo on the far side of the box. Bogyo went top shelf and one-timed it home for his first collegiate goal.

Then on Saturday, Bogyo sprinted down the left wing and after a few nifty moves to the inside, roped a liner into the bottom right to put the Bobcats up by a pair in a 2-0 win over Trinity in their NESCAC opener.

Thanks in large part to Bogyo's big week, the Bobcats are 2-0 for the first time since 2021.
