Gregory earned All-NESCAC honors with top-3 finishes in four different events and was part of three school record-breaking performances over the weekend at the NESCAC Championships.
The senior captain finished third in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:15.44) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:42.22) at the meet. He broke his own school record in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:27.73 in the morning prelims, racing to the finish in an NCAA "B" Cut time of 4:28.42 in the championship final, good for sixth place.
On relays, Gregory helped the Bates 800-yard freestyle relay smash the school record and place third overall in 6:37.17. Perhaps most impressively, the distance swimmer became a sprinter in the 400-yard freestyle relay, helping Bates take second place in a school-record time of 2:58.55.
