Upon graduation, Gregory ranked in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:
500-yard freestyle, 1st (4:27.73).
1,000-yard freestyle, 1st (9:14.80).
1,650-yard freestyle, 1st (15:41.55).
400-yard freestyle relay, 1st (2:58.55). Top split of 45.14 (5th).
800-yard freestyle relay, 1st (6:37.17), 2nd (6:42.89), 3rd (6:44.56), and 7th (6:49.87). Top split of 1:40.25 (5th).
200-yard freestyle, 2nd (1:40.13).
Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.Â
2023-24: Team captain.... CSCAA Scholar All-American.... Named to the College Sports Communicators Swimming & Diving Academic All-District® Team.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Helped the men's 800-yard freestyle relay team earn All-America honors with a 16th-place showing (6:43.32) at the NCAA Championships (March 22).... Helped both the 400-yard freestyle relay team and the 800-yard freestyle relay team earn All-NESCAC honors with 2nd and 3rd place showings respectively at the conference championships.... Individually, Gregory earned All-NESCAC honors with third place showings in the 1,000 and 1,650-yard freestyle races (Feb. 22-25).
2022-23: CSCAA Scholar All-American.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Got the first day of the NCAA Championships started on the right foot for the Bates men with his morning prelims swim of 4:29.31 in the 500-yard freestyle, breaking his own program record in the event.... He finished 15th overall in the country and posted a finals time of 4:29.92, good for All-America honors.... Gregory's performance was particularly impressive considering he was the last swimmer selected for NCAAs, making his way off the alternate list and becoming an All-American.... Earned All-NESCAC honors in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 1,650-yard freestyle.
2021-22: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Cemented himself as the greatest distance swimmer in program history, breaking the school record in the 1,650-yard freestyle with an NCAA "B" cut time of 15:41.55 at the NESCAC Championships, good for fourth best in the conference.... Earned All-NESCAC honors in the 1,000-yard freestyle, finishing third in the conference, swimming to the finish in 9:20.54, a new school record.... Took fifth place in the 500-yard freestyle at the NESCAC Championships, with a prelim time of 4:29.52, good for a new program record, and recorded an NCAA "B" cut of 4:31.42 in the championship final.... Helped Bates break the program record and take fourth place in the 800-yard freestyle relay at the NESCAC Championships.
2020-21: No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
