First-year Seneca Moore shattered the Bates men's track and field record in the 60-meter hurdles, highlighting Middlebury's New England Small College Invite Sunday for the Bobcats.

Moore (Lansing, Mich.) started the day off strong in the prelims, winning his heat in 8.38 seconds. Then in the finals, Moore took second place with a time of 8.29 seconds, the fastest 60-meter hurdles in Bates history. He breaks the previous school record of 8.37 seconds, held since 2014 by Jarret McKallagat '14
