Senior captain Clarke Jones (Pepper Pike, Ohio) got the week off to a strong start with five goals, an assist, four ground balls and a caused turnover in the men's lacrosse team's 15-10 win over Endicott on Tuesday.

He followed that up with career-highs in goals (6), assists (3) and ground balls (8) in the Bobcats' 19-9 win at Hamilton.

The Bates men's lacrosse team sits at 6-4 overall and 2-3 in NESCAC play entering a huge week with home games against Bowdoin and Connecticut College.

Jones is tied with teammate Matt Chlastawa for the conference lead in goals scored with 33.
