Senior Chrissy Aman turned in the race of her collegiate career to date, leading Bates women's cross country to second place out of 34 schools Saturday at the NCAA East Regional Championship, held at Hopkinton Fair Grounds. 

Aman (Hanover, N.H.) raced to the finish in a personal-record time of 22:24.2 in the 6K race, good for 12th place out of 230 competitors. 

On Sunday, the Bobcats received an at-large invitation to compete as a team at the NCAA championships this Saturday in Newville, Pa.
