Bates men's cross country senior captain Ned Farrington placed 13th out of more than 150 competitors and the Bates men's cross country team finished sixth in the conference Saturday at the NESCAC Championships.

Farrington (Cohasset, Mass.) will earn Second Team All-NESCAC honors for placing in the top 14. He raced to the finish at the UMass Cross Country Course in 25:45.4 to pace the Bobcats in the 8K race.
