First-year Callahan Porter paced Bates men's cross country at the CBB Wave Race on Tuesday at Pineland Farms as the Bobcats finished in second place, behind Bowdoin and well-ahead of Colby. 

Porter raced to the finish in 20:05, averaging a 5:18 mile pace along the way. He took seventh place out of 50 runners on the evening.
