Women's track and field senior captain Alice Cockerham set a new personal record in the 60-meter dash in the prelims Saturday at the Maine State Meet, racing to the finish in 8.25 seconds, good for ninth on the Bates all-time performance list. She then placed third in the final in 8.33 seconds. Cockerham also did well in the 200 meters, finishing fourth in 27.17 seconds. She also helped the 4x200 relay place third in 1:49.98.
