Bates senior captain Colby Stakun-Pickering broke the program record in the 60 meter dash, highlighting the MIT Tri-Meet Saturday for the men's indoor track and field team. 

Stakun-Pickering (Wellesley, Mass.) smashed his previous best time of 7.13 seconds, racing to the finish in 7.05 seconds, and moving up to the top spot on the program's all-time top 10 list. He tops Isaiah Spofford '15's mark of 7.06 seconds, recorded in 2013. Stakun-Pickering finished second to MIT's Jeremiah Budiman on Saturday, who won the race in 6.93 seconds.

He also helped the 4x400 relay team take second place in 3:34.32.
