Sparks and the men's first varsity eight provided the biggest highlight of the day Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond, winning their race in 6:02.2. The the Bobcats defeated crews from Hamilton (6:04.35), WPI (6:04.19), Washington College (6:11.55) and RIT (6:19.5). 

On Saturday, the 1V won its semifinal race on the Malden River in 5:54.91 over Wesleyan. Then went toe-to-toe with host Tufts in the final, finishing second to the Jumbos (6:01.88) in 6:05.96.
