First-year Bryan Gotti (Westwood, Mass.) went 5-14 (.357) at the plate on the week for the Bates baseball team. He racked up three doubles, four RBIs and a run scored in a 2-1 week for the Bobcats.

Gotti drove in two runs with a bases loaded double in the Bobcats' four-run first inning Wednesday at MIT, helping propel Bates to a 7-4 victory. 

Then he went 3-5 with two doubles and two RBIs in game two of the baseball team's doubleheader against Plymouth State on Sunday, a 6-3 Bobcat win.
