Junior Kirsten Pelletier (Sidney, Maine) threw three complete games against Colby over the weekend, shutting the Mules out twice in a three-game sweep for the Bobcats. She allowed no runs on three hits over 14 innings in the doubleheader sweep on Saturday for Bates.

Pelletier started the week by earning her first save of the season and third of her career in a 15-6 win for the Bobcats of Saint Joseph's. She pitched the final three innings and did not allow a run while striking out four to earn the save.

On Friday against Colby, she struck out seven batters while allowing three runs on seven hits in a complete game, with the Bobcats winning 9-3. Pelletier upped her game on Saturday, nearly throwing a no-hitter in game one of the doubleheader, a one-hit 4-0 complete game shutout that saw her strike out five batters.

Then she came back 30 minutes later and threw a complete game two-hit shutout, striking out six batters in a 6-0 Bates win. 

Pelletier sports a 1.80 ERA in 16 appearances, 13 starts this season.
