Tori Fitzgerald picked up the first game-winning RBI of her career on Saturday, when she ripped a two-out single in the bottom of the eighth to drive home Karen Lockhart, handing the Bobcats a 3-2 extra-inning win over Washington & Jefferson at the National Training Center Tournament in Clermont, Florida.

Fitzgerald (Holliston, Mass.) came to the plate in the bottom of the eighth with two outs and the winning run on third base. The catcher's base hit gave the Bates softball team its first win of the young season. Fitzgerald also enjoyed a 2-4 performance against Bethany College of West Virginia during the tournament.
