Bates College

Junior outside hitter Olivia McCulloch (Sunderland, Mass.) led Bates in a 1-2 week in both kills (2.12 per set) and digs (5.12 per set), to go with 0.62 aces per set. She had her fourth double-double of the season in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Springfield, with 11 kills and 27 digs. McCulloch ranks fourth on the Bobcats in kills per set (1.88), second in aces (0.63) and second in digs (4.21).

Bates (9-4) is off to its best start to a season since 2009. The Bobcats picked up their first NESCAC win of the year Saturday against Colby and they host Connecticut College Friday at 7pm and Wesleyan Saturday at 1pm.
