Nealis led all 15 competitors in the mile at the Tufts Last Chance Meet, finishing in a personal-record time of 4:11.99, moving into 10th place on Bates' all-time performance list in the event. Nealis will be the third seed out of 20 men in the mile at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

The Bates men's track and field team will have five student-athletes competing in five events at this week's NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, as announced Sunday night by the NCAA. The meet takes place March 13-14 at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The men's team's five athletes will be joined by six members of the Bates women's track and field team also headed to NCAAs.
