The Bates women's cross country team took eighth place out of 46 competing teams Saturday at the ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Williams College at Mt. Greylock High School.

Senior Julia Fisher (Philadelphia, Pa.) is the Female Bobcat of the Week as she led Bates in 32nd place overall, covering the 6-kilometer course in 24:24.2, a 6:32.7-per-mile pace.
