Brinkman (Rye, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals on Saturday in the Bobcats' NESCAC Championships Semifinals game against top-seeded Trinity. Despite dropping that game, Bates learned Sunday they're headed to their first NCAA Championships since 1994. Brinkman currently has a career-high 16 goals on the season, tied for third on the team.
