Bates senior Jessica Wilson finished first overall, leading the host Bobcats women's cross country team to second place out of four teams at the Bates Super XC Shootout Saturday at Pineland Farms.

Wilson (Cumberland, Maine), a one-time All-American in indoor track, claimed her first collegiate cross country race victory outside of the Bates-Colby Class Wave Races, covering Bates' home 3.11-mile course in 18:47.4, a 6:02.5 per mile pace.
