Junior Riley Ewing (Bedford, N.H.) scored the most points among all male swimmers at the Maine State Meet over the weekend with 92. He won the 50-yard backstroke (25.53) and also took first place in both the 100 back (53.33) and 200 back (1:57.34). Ewing placed third in the 100 fly (53.72) and the 200-yard IM at 1:59.07.

He also helped Bates claim the top spot in the 200 medley relay in 1:36.13. 

Overall, the Bates men's team took first by a wide margin, with 1,030 total points. Bowdoin was second with 814, followed by Maine (728.5) and Colby (370.5).
