First-year Monica Sears (San Anselmo, Calif.) led the 400 free relay team to victory in 3:37.73, 2.06 seconds ahead of Bowdoin on Friday. Their time broke the Tarbell Pool record, formerly set by Bowdoin in 2013, by 0.08 seconds.

Individually, Sears won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:36.31, breaking the Tarbell Pool record formerly held by Middlebury by 0.10 seconds. Sears also won the 500 free in 5:07.83. 

Bates swept their CBB series rivals with a win over Colby on Saturday. Sears won the 500 freestyle in 5:18.86.
