Spellman came off the bench to score a career-high 16 points on Friday, helping lead the Bobcat men's basketball team to an 83-78 victory over the Hamilton Continentals at Alumni Gym.

His acrobatic shots in the lane and clutch jumpers got the Bates faithful pumped up and he repeated the performance the very next day.

Despite Bates ultimately dropping Saturday's contest to No. 15 nationally ranked Middlebury by a score of 79-71, Spellman's 14 points off the bench, all in the second half, helped the Bobcats outscore the Panthers 42-38 in the second half of action.
