Junior Jack Kiely (Severna Park, Md.) ran the anchor leg for the Bobcat Distance Medley Relay Team, covering the final 1,600 meters in 4:06.5 as the men's track & field team began the Valentine Invitational on Friday night with a record-breaking performance in the DMR with a time of 9:49.74.

It is the sixth-fastest DMR ever run by a Division III team and the fastest in Bobcat history, breaking the former team record of 9:53.45, set in 2014 by the All-America team of John Stansel, Ben Levy, Mark McCauley and Noah Graboys.
