Junior forward Taylor Lough (Little Compton, R.I.) scored the game-winning goal with just eight seconds remaining in regulation to give the Bobcats a 3-2 victory at Colby on Tuesday, earning the Bobcats the eighth seed in the NESCAC Championship.

Lough scored two of Bates’ three goals in the game and also netted Bates’ lone goal in Saturday’s 4-1 loss to top-seeded Middlebury. Lough’s 10 goals are Bates’ most since Johie Farrar '03 scored 12 in 2001 and her 26 points are Bates’ most since earlier than that.
