The Bates women's swim team needed to win the final two races of Sunday's meet in order for the Bates men's and women's teams to sweep Middlebury, and the host Bobcats got it done.

Senior captain Hope Logan (Boothbay Harbor, Maine) came from behind to win the 400-yard individual medley by 1.28 seconds in 4:37.87, then Bates' 200-yard freestyle relay team defeated the Panthers 1:37.76 to 1:40.73 to win the team scoring for the day.

In addition to her win in the 400 IM, Logan won the 200 free in 1:57.25 and was edged by 0.02 seconds for first place in the 200 breast (2:29.65). For her efforts, Logan is our Female Bobcat of the Week!
