Junior midfielder Peder Bakken (Seattle, Wash.) scored the game-winning goal in overtime in Bates’ 2-1 win at Trinity, and assisted junior Austin Sansone (New York, N.Y.) on Bates’ first goal.

Bakken scored Bates’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss at Amherst.

He has scored or assisted on five of Bates’ past six goals over four games against NESCAC opponents. 

The Bobcats are off to a 5-3 start overall, with a 3-3 record in NESCAC play. The Bobcats travel to Maine Maritime on Wednesday before they host Connecticut College on Saturday. Bates wraps up the week with a trip to Emerson on Sunday.
