Spolter had a huge week for the Bobcats, scoring 20 points in back-to-back games as Bates defeated USMMA and Smith in the first two rounds of the NCAA Division III tournament at Alumni Gym. On Friday, Spolter tallied 20 points on 6-9 shooting to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and three steals in a 71-57 win over the Mariners in the first round of the tournament. She followed that up Saturday with a game-high 20 points on 7-12 shooting, five assists, and a steal as Bates rallied from 18 points down to stun Smith 74-70 in overtime.
