Zachary Caraviello begins his first season as men's basketball assistant coach at Bates College.
Caraviello joins the Bobcats after serving as assistant coach and defensive coordinator at NCAA Division II Assumption University during 2023-24. Prior to that tenure, Zachary was an assistant coach (2020-2022) and associate head coach (2022-23) at Division II Franklin Pierce University where he helped guide the Ravens to an overall record of 35-23 during his time with the program.
As an undergraduate at UMass-Lowell, Caraviello was the the head student manager (2018-2020) for the Division I Hawks.
Zachary earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the institution, graduating magna cum laude. He was a member of the National Economics Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon.
