Rick Smith begins his first year as Bates College Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach, specializing in pole vault.
A resident of nearby Auburn, Maine, Smith recently served as both the indoor (since 2018) and outdoor (2023-24) track coach at Edward Little High School.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts (psychology) and Master of Science (counseling) from the University of Southern Maine.
