Bates College

Henry Pelletier begins his first season as assistant coach of the Bates men's and women's squash programs in 2026-27.

Pelletier joins the Bobcats after a distinguished collegiate career at Connecticut College, where he was a four-year member and captain of the men's squash team. Having graduated in spring 2026 with a bachelor's degree in economics and French, along with a minor in environmental studies, he also studied abroad at Université Paris Cité in France and is fluent in French with working proficiency in Spanish.

Pelletier brings extensive coaching experience to Bates. Since 2020, he has coached junior players throughout the Greater Hartford (Conn.) area, working with athletes of all ages in both individual and group settings. He also completed internships with US Squash in Philadelphia and Capitol Squash in Hartford, where he directed junior camps, coached technical and tactical skills, and earned his Level 1 coaching certification.

At Bates, Pelletier assists with all aspects of the men's and women's squash programs, including player development, recruiting, practice planning, and match preparation.
