Bates College

Erin McNulty joined the Bates Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance staff in the fall of 2021 and was promoted to Senior Athletic Trainer on July 1, 2026.

Before arriving at Bates, McNulty spent three years at Auburn University at Montgomery, where she served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Interim Head Athletic Trainer. She provided primary medical coverage for the men's and women's basketball, cross country, and tennis programs.

McNulty earned a master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from California University of Pennsylvania in 2021 after receiving her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Ithaca College in 2017. She also earned a diploma from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2018.

A native of Medway, Massachusetts, McNulty is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the American Massage Therapy Association.
