Career: One of 50 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2020-21: Team captain.... Second Team All-NESCAC in singles.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.

2019-20: NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Teamed with Lauren Hernandez to win 8-3 at No. 2 doubles and won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to help Bates defeat Wellesley 5-4 (March 7).... Teamed with Hernandez to win 8-1 at No. 2 doubles, helping Bates defeat Wheaton (Mass.) 8-1 (Feb. 28).... Studied abroad in the fall.

2018-19: ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Posted an overall doubles record of 9-18 and an overall singles record of 10-11 as a sophomore, playing at the top of the ladder for Bates.... Teamed with Anna Rozin '22 in the fall to defeat Kristina Calistro and Cassie Restrepo from NCAA Division II opponent Merrimack College 8-7 (7) at No. 1 doubles.... Followed that up with a pair of doubles victories with Rozin at the Bowdoin Invitational.... In the spring, Sweeney teamed with Rozin to defeat the Connecticut College duo of Mariah Warren and Brooke Scully 8-2 at No. 1 doubles.... Teamed with Lauren Hernandez '20 to earn an 8-4 victory over Jillian Winer and Marta Drausnik from NESCAC foe Trinity College at No. 2 doubles.... In singles play, Sweeney advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Division III New England Womens Regional Championships in the fall by defeating Williams College's Korina Neveux 6-3, 6-3.... Earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Lauren Persson of NCAA Division II Merrimack College at No. 1 singles.... Beat three ranked opponents in the spring.... Earned a 7-6(4), 6-4 win over No. 36 Diana Dehterevich of Brandeis University at No. 1 singles.... Earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over No. 33 Carly Levitz of Colby College at No. 1 singles.... Defeated No. 48 Julia Marks of Bowdoin College 6-1, 0-6, 7-6 at No. 1 singles.

2017-18: ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Teamed with Lauren Hernandez '20 and went 12-6 while playing at mostly No. 2 doubles in dual matches.... Won seven straight matches to begin the spring.... Defeated Madison Ross and Anna Maite Kaplan of No. 32 Chapman University 8-0 to start the season (Feb. 20).... Knocked off Caroline Casper and Shivani Doraiswami of No. 7 Pomona-Pitzer 8-6 (Feb. 23).... Earned an 8-7 (7) win over Tomo Iwasaki and Julia Keller of No. 6 Tufts (March 31).... Defeated Emily Curtis and Jillian Winer of No. 40 Trinity 8-6 (April 8).... Earned an 8-3 win over Gabby Venditti and Callie Nesbitt of No. 38 Colby College (April 24).... Posted a 12-6 singles record in dual matches.... Opened the season at No. 3 singles and defeated Vasilisa Trofimova of No. 32 Chapman 6-3, 6-2 (Feb. 20).... Won eight straight singles matches while playing at No. 1-3 singles from Feb. 24-March 18.... Won 6-1, 6-4 over Madeleine Paolucci of No. 15 Case Western Reserve at No. 3 singles (March 16).... Defeated Emily Kochard of No. 18 Washington & Lee University 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3 singles (March 18).... Moved up to No. 2 singles and upended No. 47 Vickie Ip of No. 8 Amherst 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 (April 7).... Defeated No. 50 Tasha Christ of No. 14 Bowdoin 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles (April 26).
