2020: Team captain.... Made three starts as a senior in an abbreviated season for the Bobcats.... Went 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in 14 innings pitched, striking out 14 batters on the year.... Earned the win and struck out six batters over the course of five innings pitched in a 9-4 victory over Elmira (Feb. 17).... Did not allow an earned run in four innings pitched, striking out two against Capital (Feb. 22).... Struck out six batters in five innings pitched against Nichols (March 7).
2019: First Team All-NESCAC pitcher.... Led the NESCAC in strikeouts (64) and posted a 3.10 ERA over 66.2 innings.... Collins finished the year with a 7-2 mark on the mound.... Scattered seven hits over six innings, allowing just two runs and one walk while striking out seven against Augustana (Feb. 19).... Tossed six shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out six to earn the win in Bates' 11-0 victory over Salem State (March 9).... Scattered eight hits over six innings, allowing four runs (two earned) while striking out six to earn the win in Bates' 7-4 victory over MIT (March 20).... Allowed just two runs on five hits over eight and a third innings, striking out seven to earn the win in Bates' 5-2 victory over Trinity (April 6).... Allowed just two runs while striking out six in six and a third innings to earn the win in Bates' 4-2 victory over Wesleyan (April 13).... Struck out eight in a nine-inning complete game, allowing two runs on five hits to earn the win in Bates' 3-2 victory over Bowdoin (April 19).... Did not allow an earned run in seven innings pitched, striking out four and earning the win in Bates' 16-3 victory over Colby (April 27).... Won his fifth straight start and allowed just one run over five innings pitched, striking out four in Bates' 11-1 victory at Bowdoin (May 4).... Struck out a career-high 12 batters over seven and two thirds innings against Middlebury in the NESCAC Championships (May 11).
2018: Had a breakout sophomore season, emerging as an ace on the mound for the Bobcats.... Made 11 appearances, seven starts, and posted a 3-2 record with a 2.75 ERA with one complete game in 52.1 innings pitched.... Struck out 47 batters on the season while walking just 15.... Struck out four batters and allowed just one earned run over four innings pitched against Bowdoin (March 31).... Earned the win and allowed just one run over seven innings, striking three batters and surrendering only three hits in Bates' 4-1 win at Colby (April 7).... Struck out seven batters in six innings of work while allowing just one earned run against Williams (April 14).... Earned the win and struck out five batters over six innings in Bates' 5-3 victory over Trinity (April 21).... Struck out a career-high eight and threw a complete game three-hit shutout in Bates' 5-0 win over Tufts (April 28).... Came out of the bullpen and threw six innings of shutout ball, striking out six along the way against Southern Maine (May 5).... Allowed just one run in seven innings pitched, striking out five batters in the NESCAC tournament against Amherst (May 11).
2017: Made five appearances and started four games as a first-year.... Tossed 21 innings and finished the year 0-3 with a 6.43 ERA.... Struck out 14 batters on the season.... Tossed two innings of shutout ball, striking out one in his collegiate debut against Chapman (Feb. 19).... Gave up three earned runs over four innings, striking out two along the way in his first collegiate start, a 13-6 Bates win over Caltech (Feb. 22).... Struck out five batters over 4.1 innings at Husson (March 29).... Delivered his longest outing of the year by tossing six innings, striking out four along the way against Plymouth State (April 30).
