What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership means stepping up in order to achieve a common goal and unifying those around you.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Being able to work with disabled athletes and youth athletes of all ages has helped me to become a better athlete and teammate as well as a stronger leader on the court.

What’s a failure or setback that taught you something valuable?
When I was a younger athlete on a varsity sport and wasn’t chosen to start my first year, I was able to learn how to put the success of my team first above my own desire to be on the court all the time.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
Everything happens for a reason, so learn from every experience and take the lessons you learn to make yourself a better person.

What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I love Hamilton, the musical on Broadway!
