What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
I took a gap year to travel and compete in Ski Mountaineering World Cups all over Europe. It completely reshaped how I view the world and take on challenges.

What is something you're currently working to improve about yourself?
Having competed on the world stage in Ski Mountaineering this past year, I've faced a lot of internal and external pressure which has forced me to think about my "why". During each race whether it's running or skimo, I have been working on enjoying the moment and remembering why I started.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
"It's always worth the climb."

What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I am also on the U.S. National Ski Mountaineering team.
