Biography
Currently, Guanci ranks in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:
200-yard breaststroke, 6th (2:23.31).
50-yard breaststroke, 10th (30.98).
100-yard breaststroke, 10th (1:07.07).
Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
2021-22: Team captain.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.
2020-21: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.
2019-20: Placed ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.21) at the NESCAC Championships.... Placed third in the 200 breaststroke (2:32.23) against Dartmouth.... Placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:28.09), sixth in the 200 IM (2:12.66), sixth in the 100 breast (1:08.18), and seventh in the 50 breast (31.69) at the Maine State Meet.
2018-19: Placed seventh in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.13, with a trial time of 2:25.43) at the NESCAC Championships.
Bates Activities: Outing Club, Special Olympics Club, and Dance Club.
Major: Psychology.
Minor: Education.
High School: National Honors Society Vice President, Foreign Language Honors Society Member, Student Government Representative, and Student Council Representative.
