Entering the 2025-26 season, Pierce ranks in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:


200-yard freestyle relay, 2nd (1:20.71), 3rd (1:21.11), 4th (1:21.21), and 8th (1:22.47). Top split of 19.95 (4th).

400-yard freestyle relay, 2nd (2:58.55), 3rd (3:00.38), 4th (3:00.61), and 5th (3:02.50). Top split of 44.90 (6th).

50-yard backstroke, 5th (23.54).

50-yard freestyle, 6th (20.89).

100-backstroke, 8th (51.84).

800-yard freestyle relay, 8th (6:49.87).

100-yard freestyle, 9th (46.39).

200-yard medley relay, 9th (1:30.34) and 10th (1:30.36).

2024-25: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Studied abroad for his junior year.

2023-24: CSCAA Scholar All-American.... One of 13 Bobcats who competed at the NCAA Championships.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Helped the Bates 400-yard freestyle relay team earn All-NESCAC honors as the Bobcats took second place with a school-record time of 2:58.55 at the NESCAC Championships (Feb. 22-25).

2022-23: CSCAA Scholar All-American.... Earned All-American honors in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships as the Bobcats recorded a time of 3:01.23 in the prelims and broke the school record in the final with a time of 3:00.38, good for 12th place (March 18).... Finished on the podium with a seventh-place showing as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships.... The Bobcats raced to the finish in 1:21.21 in the morning prelims and dropped some more time in the championship final, with a school-record mark of 1:21.11 (March 16).

Personal: 2022 graduate of Lawrence High School (Maine) where he competed in swimming, soccer, and track & field.
