Currently, Sweeney ranks in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:

200-yard freestyle, 3rd (1:52.95).

400-yard medley relay, 3rd (3:47.94).

200-yard IM, 5th (2:08.17).

800-yard freestyle relay, 5th (7:33.33), 8th (7:34.73). Top split of 1:53.33, T-9th.

400-yard freestyle relay, 6th (3:27.87). Top split of 51.93, 11th.

100-yard freestyle, 6th (52.44).

200-yard backstroke, 10th (2:09.16).

Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2021-22: Team captain.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.

2020-21: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.

2019-20: Earned All-America honors in the 400 Medley Relay and 800 Free Relay.... Helped Bates place fourth in the 400-yard medley relay and in the 800-yard freestyle relay at the NESCAC Championships.

2018-19: Received CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, recognizing students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.... Earned two All-America honors at the 2019 NCAA Championships, helping Bates place 15th in the 400 Freestyle Relay and 16th in the 800 Freestyle Relay.
