2021: Team captain.... Recipient of the Peter and Lois Doran Award for Track & Field Excellence.
Outdoor Highlights: Hauled in three All-NESCAC honors, doubling his career total to six.... Rex won his first NESCAC title in the hammer throw -- his top effort of 191'6" in a tri-meet at Bates on May 1 was his career-best mark, and has him ranked seventh in all of Division III.... Rex also won his second career All-NESCAC honor in the shot put, where he ranked second in the league at 47'3", and a third honor in the discus throw, where he ranked third at 140'11".
2020: Team captain.
Indoor Highlights: Earned All-America honors in the weight throw for qualifying for the NCAA Championships before the post-season was canceled.... Rex repeated as All-New England in the weight throw, and won the honor for the first time in the shot put.... Rex ranked sixth in the country in the weight throw, and second in New England, based on his career-best mark of 19.06 meters, or 62'6.5", thrown at the New England Division III Indoor Championships on Feb. 28.... In the shot put, Rex ranked 41st in Division III, and first in New England, based on his career-best effort of 51'0.75" at the New England Division III Championships, which earned him first place.... Won the shot put and the weight throw at the Maine State Meet.... Won the weight throw at the Tufts Invitational.... Won the weight throw at the Bates Invitational.... Won the weight throw at the Bates-Colby-MIT Tri-Meet.
2019
Outdoor Highlights: Took 15th place out of 20 competitors in the hammer throw at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, with a top effort of 176 feet and 8 inches.... Received NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the hammer throw, ranking third in New England.... Took fourth place in the hammer throw (185-2) at Open New Englands.... Placed sixth in the shot put (47-5) a day after placing second in the hammer throw (188-1) at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships.... Took second place in the hammer throw (180-10) and third place in the shot put (47-1) at the NESCAC Championships, scoring 14 team points and earning two All-NESCAC awards for top-three finishes.... Captured the Frederick Tootel Memorial Most Valuable Field Athlete Award, after placing first in the hammer throw (182-2), discus throw (142-1) and shot put (47-2.25) at the Maine State Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.... Had a big personal best in the hammer throw at the UNH Wildcat Invitational, taking first place among 12 athletes with a top effort of 57.92 meters, or 190 feet, exceeding his previous personal record of 181-11.... Rex replaced former teammate Adedire Fakorede '18 in 10th place on Bates' all-time performance list in the hammer.... Also placed second in the discus throw at UNH, outdistancing his previous best (130-9) by more than 12 feet, at 143-1.... He additionally placed third in the shot put (46-5.25).... Earned NESCAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after winning the hammer throw (181-11) and finishing sixth in the shot put (45-0.25) at the MIT Quad Meet on featuring RPI and Tufts.

Placed sixth in the shot put (47-11) and seventh in the weight throw (56-6.75) at the New England Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships.... Won the shot put (48-1.25) among 31 competitors and the weight throw (57-10.5) among 23 competitors at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Placed second in the weight throw (59-6.25) at the Valentine Invitational.... Won both the weight throw (career-best 59-9.5) and the shot put (49-0.75) at the Maine State Men's Indoor Championships.... Led a 1-2-3-4 Bates sweep among 22 competitors in the weight throw at the USM Invitational, with a top mark of 57-3.75.... Rex also won the shot put among 34 competitors, with a top mark of 49-7.25, marking a new career-best.... Captured first place in the shot put (47-9.75) and the weight throw (56-2) at the Bates Invitational.
2018
Outdoor Highlights: Extended his own team first-year record in the hammer throw, placing ninth out of 24 with a top distance of 172-9 at Open New Englands.... Took seventh place in the hammer throw, with a top distance of 170-5.5 at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships.... Placed third in the hammer throw (171-7) at the NESCAC Championships, earning All-NESCAC honors.... Placed third in the hammer throw (165-6) at the Maine State Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.... Placed fifth in the hammer throw at 165-8 and eighth in the discus (130-9) at the UNH Wildcat Invitational.... Placed fourth in the hammer (154-9) at the Tufts Quad Meet.
Indoor Highlights: Set a season-best in the weight throw (50-4.50), placing eighth at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet.... Took fourth place in the shot put (41-4.5) and fifth place in the weight throw (48-8.75) at the Maine State Open.
